Maine State Nurses Association endorses Jim Martin for State Representative..

Jim Martin, Democratic candidate for State Representative for District 18 (East Bangor, Veazie and part of Orono) today received the endorsement of the Maine State Nurses Association (MSNA).

In making its decision as to whom to support in this 3-way campaign, the MSNA stated it was "encouraged by Mr. Martin's dedication to patients, nurses and the delivery of affordable, quality health care in Maine".

"I am honored to have the support of the MSNA. Health care is such an important issue to all of us. I have always been impressed at the level of dedication nurses exhibit under very difficult working conditions", Martin said.

"When elected, I promise to work hard every day to bring quality affordable health care to the people of Maine. Maine families and its health care professionals deserve a strong advocate in Augusta."
